Welcome Cocktail Party
Held at the historic Albury Club, in the heart of Albury this local institution has been a feature of the local community since the 1870’s. The blend of history and contemporary open space is an ideal location to catch up with friends from rallies past or meet fellow enthusiasts from around the country. Kick off the 50th National Rally and a weekend of fun and celebrations in style
The event costs $50 per head and includes substantial finger food, a welcome drink with further beverages at members cost. The good company and lifelong memories are free.
Saturday March 30th
Concours and Display Day
In many ways this is the highlight of the national rally and the greatest opportunity to showcase the Jaguar marque and our clubs to the community. Our display will feature a full line up of Jaguars from pre-war to the current range of vehicles including the new I-Pace, Jaguars state of the art electric vehicle.
Being the 50th National Rally we are featuring a Jaguar model that has been with us for the full 50 Years and arguably the most identifiable Jaguar of the modern era – the XJ. On display will be a timeline of Jaguars from the 1969 Series 1 to the current XJ351.
The display also features our National Concours with owners competing in both d’Elegance and d’Etat categories. Concours entrants in either class need to pay a registration fee of $80 when booking and an entry from will be emailed to you.
There is no fee for spectators or to display your Jaguar in the display area.

Back to the 70’s
Come and let your hair down with dinner and a show. A fun night taking you back to the glitz and glamour of the 70’s. In true National Rally style, we have arranged the ultimate 70’s icon band to entertain you. ABBA were unfortunately booked out in Sweden however we have the ultimate ABBA tribute band BABBA on stage to entertain you. They will have you singing and dancing your way down memory lane.
The event kicks off at the Cube in Wodonga and includes a 3-course meal, canapes, a complimentary drink on arrival and world class entertainment for $80 per person with further beverages at members cost.
So, get out those flares, practice your disco moves and relearn those ABBA Lyrics.
Sunday March 31st
Sporting event – The Hume Weir Revival
Since its opening in 1959 the Hume Weir Track has hosted many a sporting event and has been home to the Jaguar National Rally Sporting Event on several occasions. The Track closed in 1977 due to lack of funding. In tribute we have named this years sporting event accordingly. Our 2019 event takes place at the Barnawartha Logic centre and has something for everyone, including spectators who are encouraged to come in period dress.
Sporting participants need to register for the Rally and pay the fee of $100 per per vehicle entered. The supplementary regulations and entry from will be emailed to all sporting event entrants.
Alternative Sunday Event – Historic Chiltern and Lunch at Buller’s Winery
Jaguars were meant to be driven. The first of our Sunday drives is aimed at those not participating in the Post Rally Tour as it visits similar regions. Departing mid-morning our journey takes us to the historic town of Chiltern for morning tea. Chiltern is a special little town alive with period architecture and lovely bakeries and coffee shops. We then continue on some fabulous driving roads to Rutherglen for a platter lunch and tastings at Buller’s Winery. Buller’s is one of the oldest wineries in the region, famous and well known by wine lovers. Cost of this event is $25 per person with morning tea at your own expense.
Alternative Sunday Drive – Dartmouth Dam and Lunch at the Mitta Mitta Pub
Jaguars were meant to be driven and the second option is driving on some lovely driving roads as we head out to Dartmouth Dam and the Mitta Mitta Pub. We hear the inside story on the construction of the Dartmouth Dam from one of the local characters and identities before enjoying a two course lunch at the Pub overlooking the picturesque Mitta Mitta River. Cost of this event is $35 per person with morning tea at your own expense.
The Gala night of the rally is our presentation dinner, ending the suspense with our winning Concours and sporting entrants as they are presented with their trophies.
The night will be held in the lovely Wodonga Golf Club with a display of our cars floodlit on the greens. Enjoy a welcome drink, canapes and a 2-course meal and celebrate the achievements of our winners. Cost for this spectacular evening is $80 per person with further beverages at members cost.
Monday April 1st
A final hurrah – say goodbye to friends new and old over breakfast at the famous Albury River Deck Café. Set in parkland alongside the Murray, enjoy a cooked breakfast in this picturesque setting – the coffee is also sensational. Cost is $30 per person but rest assured you will travel home or take off on the Post Rally Tour with your belly fully satisfied.
